Privacy notice

How we use the information you provide through this website.

Website enquiries

AW Aluminium uses your contact details, enquiry type, company information where provided, and project brief to assess and respond to commercial, trade and domestic enquiries. We do not use an enquiry as consent to receive unrelated marketing.

Handling relevant enquiries supports our legitimate interest in discussing and supplying aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling. Where applicable, we also process information to take steps you request before entering a contract. Optional Google Analytics and advertising cookies rely on your consent.

Only submit documents you are authorised to share. Avoid including unnecessary personal information or confidential material unrelated to your enquiry.

Drawings and retention

Uploaded drawings are stored privately. Staff notification emails contain time-limited download links so our team can review your enquiry.

Website enquiry records and uploads are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Information needed for an active tender or project may be transferred to our business project records and handled under the relevant project arrangements.

Service providers and analytics

Our website hosting and email providers process information as needed to run the website and deliver enquiries. Google Analytics starts only after you choose to allow it. The Google Ads tag loads when the page opens with cookie storage denied by default.

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page visits and website performance without using analytics cookies, local storage or individual visitor fingerprinting. These cookieless measurements operate separately from your optional measurement choices.

Google Ads uses Consent Mode to send cookieless consent and measurement signals while advertising cookies are denied. If you allow advertising cookies, it can store advertising click identifiers in first-party cookies to help measure visits from our advertising. Personalised advertising is disabled.

If you separately allow Meta Pixel, we share page visits and successful enquiry submissions with Meta to measure Facebook and Instagram advertising. Meta also receives browser and network information, including your IP address, page URL and referrer, and may associate visits with your Facebook or Instagram account.

We do not send your name, email address, project brief, filenames or uploaded document contents in our Google or Meta tracking events. Meta automatic advanced matching and automatic event detection are disabled. You can change each optional measurement choice using Cookie settings in the footer.

Google and Meta provide the optional measurement services. Their privacy information explains how they handle data and their international processing arrangements. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
